JAS extracurricular programs also known as "JAS Extras" are offered to all currently enrolled Jackson Elementary students in grades K-5 for beginning Fall 2024; some classes are banded by grade. Students can enroll in just extracurricular classes or they can participate even if they are enrolled in the JAS aftercare program. All JAS Extras for 2024-25 will take place at the Jackson Primary campus school grounds. Grade 2-5 students are bussed to the primary campus by APS bus alongside our JAS aftercare students. Students transition to us at the end of the school day for all first hour extracurricular programs. If a child attends at 2nd hour extracurricular program, they must either be brought back to the school at the start of that class by a parent or caregiver, transition from a 1st hour extracurricular program, if enrolled, or transition from the JAS aftercare program, if enrolled. No student may be left on campus in the time after school has dismissed until the second hour extracurricular program begins.
