Jackson After SchoolWelcome Pre-K families! Jackson After School is looking forward to the 2022-23 school year. For our Pre-K afterschool program, we require a minimum of 16 students. Registration is open through June 15th, you will be notified after June 15th if we met the minimum numbers to operate this pr-ogram for Pre-K. Due to the required Georgia Pre-K Program student/teacher ratios, our monthly tuition will be $435/month to cover the expense of the required additional staff. The Pre-K afterschool program will operate the same hours as our other grade levels, immediately after the school day ends until 6:00pm. The school day hours are currently pending and will be posted once APS has made their final decision this summer. PRE-K IMPORTANT TIP: when creating the child profile in the registration system prior to enrolling, select the blank field above "K" for the upcoming grade level. Morningside ExtracurricularMAS is excited to be the provider of extracurricular programs for Morningside Elementary (at Inman)! MAS Extras offers a variety of extracurricular options for your child each afternoon. MAS extracurricular programs also known as "MAS Extras" are offered to all currently enrolled Morningside Elementary students in grades 1-5; some classes are banded by grade. Students can enroll in just extracurricular classes or they can participate even if they are enrolled in the MAS aftercare program. All MAS Extras take place on the Morningside Elementary at Inman school grounds. Students transtion to us at the end of the school day for all first hour extracurricular programs. If a child attends at 2nd hour extracurricular program, they must either be brought back to the school at the start of that class by a parent or caregiver, transtion from a 1st hour extracurricular program, if enrolled, or transition from the MAS aftercare program, if enrolled. No student may be left on campus in the time after school has dismissed until the second hour extracurricular program begins. This is an APS and MAS aftercare policy. Each course offered has a fee set based on vendor rate and number of weeks in the session. Each course offered has a fee set based on vendor rate and number of weeks in the session. Typically, Fall semester classes begin the first full week after Labor Day and classes for the Winter-Spring semester begin the first full week after the MLK holiday. All SAS Extras classes take place at the Primary campus; Intermediate students are bussed to Primary campus by APS bus at school day dismissal on the afternoons they have a class for the first hour of extras programming.
