Basketball with 411 Brand Athletics

Basketball with 411 Brand Athletics is a structured environment that teaches the fundamentals of basketball and life lessons to boys and girls in 1st-5th grade. During each session, the 411 Basketball Academy prepares each member to become a better basketball player mentally as well as physically. Each basketball instructor trains each participant to become a better shooter, passer, rebounder and ball handler. Drawing Elements with Spunky Arts

New lessons each semester! Drawing basics balancing classic arts education and fun. Basic does not mean boring! Students will build upon their understanding of geometric shapes to create more complex images while learning the use of line, form, space, and perspective to complete drawings that are, ultimately, all their own. This class offers weekly step-by-step single subject drawings designed to scaffold the elements of drawing while improving handwriting and fine motor skills. Drones and Design with Steam Powered Kids

OPEN TO GRADE 4-5 STUDENTS ONLY- second hour class Drones and Design Students will delve into the world of material science as they learn the properties of flight and experiment with creating their own built-from-scratch drones. Students will be responsible for the upkeep and health of their trainer drone that they will use to practice obstacle flying, learn battery management and hone their piloting skills. Drone safety is our number-one priority! Students will work on learning drone safety according to FAA and AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) guidelines. Flag Football with 411 Brand Academy

The 411 Brand Flag Football Academy is a structured yet fun environment that teaches the fundamentals of football to boys & girls GRADES 1-5 interested in the sport. Each week, students will learn how to practice and go through various drills to help them become a better flag football player. Robotics Junior with Steam Powered Kids

Junior LEGO Robotics and More! Grades 1-2 - This is different from the fall. This Junior Lego Robotics course provides an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of robotics. No prior experience with robotics is necessary. During each session, students will explore concepts of working with and programming robots using a number of different platforms, including LEGO, Sphero and more. Students will investigate topics including how robots use attachments to complete tasks and how to program a robot without using a computer! Robotics Senior with Steam Powered Kids

Senior Robotics - Sumo Bots! This class is different from Fall. Grades 3-5. Senior Robotics serves as an extracurricular enrichment program that encourages the exploration and application of STEAM-based principles through building and programming robots. No previous experience with robotics is necessary. For the spring, we will explore the world of Battle Bots and compete in our own TRI ROBOT SUMO CUP! Teams of students will compete to out-program, out-design and out-build their peers in a friendly competition between schools at the end of the term. Using the LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 and RC battle bot platforms, students will learn programming and building skills that will translate nicely to the FLL competition we compete in each Fall. For those not necessarily interested in competing in the SUMO challenge, there will be options to build a host of helper bots as well as the robotic arena itself. Returning students will be given the freedom to build upon past experiences on new platforms and challenges. Activities focus on honing critical thinking skills, perseverance and teamwork as students learn to program, use sensors and design attachments. In addition to building a robot for the competition, we will take time out of each session to explore other robotics platforms as we expand our robotic horizons. Soccer with 411 Brand Athletics is a structured program for boys and girls designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport as well as develop an interest in the game. A fun filled program designed to teach your child LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT through the application of Martial Arts. There will be no physical contact. Tap & Ballet with Studio Go Dance

Tap Ballet is a combination class split with 30 minutes of Tap and 30 minutes of Ballet. This is a great class for the young dancer who wants to learn the fundamentals of both Tap and Ballet. Classes touch on both warm-up and technique of both disciplines, as well as proper arm, leg, and foot positions. Studio Go’s Tap Ballet program is a progressive program that introduces more complex technique and patterns of movement to challenge the elementary student. These classes are perfect for both beginners and the more serious dance student. Our teachers are prepared and evaluate where each student is (level) to make sure that all students are both comfortable and challenged at the same time. Team Sports with All Star Athletics

Sports with All Star Athletics: This class has it all! Kickball, Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Flag Football, Tee-Ball and other Team Sports and games that are going the way of the dinosaur in traditional sports curriculums. Children K-5th will have an opportunity each week to compete in an encouraging low stakes environment where they learn to work together in order to accomplish victory!
