    New lessons each semester! Drawing basics balancing classic arts education and fun. Basic does not mean boring! Students will build upon their understanding of geometric shapes to create more complex images while learning the use of line, form, space, and perspective to complete drawings that are, ultimately, all their own. This class offers weekly step-by-step single subject drawings designed to scaffold the elements of drawing while improving handwriting and fine motor skills.     FORE!!! Overtime Sports Golf program is designed to instill important life skills and character building qualities that are essential for the development of each student. The program provides students with beginning, intermediate, and advanced level junior golfing instruction in a no-pressure environment. Students will learn golf history, etiquette, grip, stance, posture, putting, specialty shots, and a variety of other skills. Each student will have a precise understanding of how the game is played from tee to green. Students who demonstrate aptitude and interest for the sport can advance their golf skills to the competitive level, while others can participate in the sport for fun. Please wear PE type clothes.   • Robotics Junior with Steam Powered Kids

    Junior LEGO Robotics and More! Grades 1-2 - This is different from the fall. This Junior Lego Robotics course provides an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of robotics. No prior experience with robotics is necessary. During each session, students will explore concepts of working with and programming robots using a number of different platforms, including LEGO, Sphero and more. Students will investigate topics including how robots use attachments to complete tasks and how to program a robot without using a computer!   • Robotics Senior with Steam Powered Kids

    Senior Robotics - Sumo Bots! This class is different from Fall. Grades 3-5. Senior Robotics serves as an extracurricular enrichment program that encourages the exploration and application of STEAM-based principles through building and programming robots. No previous experience with robotics is necessary. For the spring, we will explore the world of Battle Bots and compete in our own TRI ROBOT SUMO CUP! Teams of students will compete to out-program, out-design and out-build their peers in a friendly competition between schools at the end of the term. Using the LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 and RC battle bot platforms, students will learn programming and building skills that will translate nicely to the FLL competition we compete in each Fall. For those not necessarily interested in competing in the SUMO challenge, there will be options to build a host of helper bots as well as the robotic arena itself. Returning students will be given the freedom to build upon past experiences on new platforms and challenges. Activities focus on honing critical thinking skills, perseverance and teamwork as students learn to program, use sensors and design attachments. In addition to building a robot for the competition, we will take time out of each session to explore other robotics platforms as we expand our robotic horizons.     Soccer with Overtime Sports is an active program for boys and girls designed to develop an interest in the game and establish a solid foundation in preparation for recreational or club soccer. We are able to accomplish this by making sure the number one ingredient is present at all times: FUNdamentals! Students will learn various elements of the game such as passing, trapping, dribbling, shooting, and ball control. The sessions are composed of exciting games such as Terminator, Sting Ray, and World Cup. Kickball, Dodgeball, Capture the Flag, Flag Football, Tee-Ball and other Team Sports and games that are going the way of the dinosaur in traditional sports curriculums. Children 1st-5th will have an opportunity each week to compete in an encouraging low stakes environment where they learn to work together in order to accomplish victory! Coaches will divide teams based on age and ability to provide fun but competitive matchups where Children will be encouraged!
