    Basketball with 411 Brand Athletics is a structured environment that teaches the fundamentals of basketball and life lessons to boys and girls in GR1-5 . During each session, the 411 Basketball Academy prepares each member to become a better basketball player mentally as well as physically. Each basketball instructor trains each participant to become a better shooter, passer, rebounder and ball handler students will be grouped based on skill and grade level consideration into two groups.   • Drones and Design with Steam Powered Kids

    OPEN TO GRADE 4-5 STUDENTS ONLY- second hour class Drones and Design Students will delve into the world of material science as they learn the properties of flight and experiment with creating their own built-from-scratch drones. Students will be responsible for the upkeep and health of their trainer drone that they will use to practice obstacle flying, learn battery management and hone their piloting skills. Drone safety is our number-one priority! Students will work on learning drone safety according to FAA and AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) guidelines.   • Girls Rising Strong with Elevated Adolescence

    Girls Rising Strong (GRS) and its counterpart, Boys Breaking Through (BBT), are research-based character development programs curated specifically for upper elementary-aged adolescents navigating the critical transition from childhood to adolescence. Today’s girls are growing up in an environment saturated with social comparison, perfectionism, and pressure to please, often before they reach middle school. According to Common Sense Media, girls as young as 10 are now spending nearly 5 hours a day on screens, leading to increased anxiety, low self-worth, and early body image concerns. Girls Rising Strong (GRS) is a transformative character development course that empowers girls to navigate these challenges with clarity, confidence, and courage. Through hands-on activities, reflective discussion, and guided mentorship, girls explore character traits such as self-awareness, kindness, humility, bravery, and emotional regulation.     FORE!!! Overtime Sports Golf program is designed to instill important life skills and character building qualities that are essential for the development of each student. The program provides students with beginning, intermediate, and advanced level junior golfing instruction in a no-pressure environment. Students will learn golf history, etiquette, grip, stance, posture, putting, specialty shots, and a variety of other skills. Each student will have a precise understanding of how the game is played from tee to green.     Kids TV Jr. During Kids TV Jr., students in primary grades 1st - 2nd will learn the basics of camera and acting for the camera. Kids will practice camera foundations such as zoom, focus, wide shot, medium shot and close ups as well as practicing how to perform key emotions and control over voice, body and face in front of the camera.   • Robotics Junior with Steam Powered Kids

    Junior LEGO Robotics and More! Grades 1-2 - This is different from the fall. This Junior Lego Robotics course provides an exciting, hands-on introduction to the world of robotics. No prior experience with robotics is necessary. During each session, students will explore concepts of working with and programming robots using a number of different platforms, including LEGO, Sphero and more. Students will investigate topics including how robots use attachments to complete tasks and how to program a robot without using a computer!   • Robotics Senior with Steam Powered Kids

    Senior Robotics - Sumo Bots! This class is different from Fall. Grades 3-5. Senior Robotics serves as an extracurricular enrichment program that encourages the exploration and application of STEAM-based principles through building and programming robots. No previous experience with robotics is necessary. For the spring, we will explore the world of Battle Bots and compete in our own TRI ROBOT SUMO CUP! Teams of students will compete to out-program, out-design and out-build their peers in a friendly competition between schools at the end of the term. Using the LEGO MINDSTORM EV3 and RC battle bot platforms, students will learn programming and building skills that will translate nicely to the FLL competition we compete in each Fall. For those not necessarily interested in competing in the SUMO challenge, there will be options to build a host of helper bots as well as the robotic arena itself. Returning students will be given the freedom to build upon past experiences on new platforms and challenges. Activities focus on honing critical thinking skills, perseverance and teamwork as students learn to program, use sensors and design attachments. In addition to building a robot for the competition, we will take time out of each session to explore other robotics platforms as we expand our robotic horizons.     Soccer with Overtime Sports is an active program for boys and girls designed to develop an interest in the game and establish a solid foundation in preparation for recreational or club soccer. We are able to accomplish this by making sure the number one ingredient is present at all times: FUNdamentals! Students will learn various elements of the game such as passing, trapping, dribbling, shooting, and ball control. The sessions are composed of exciting games such as Terminator, Sting Ray, and World Cup.     Tap Ballet is a combination class split with 30 minutes of Tap and 30 minutes of Ballet. This is a great class for the young dancer who wants to learn the fundamentals of both Tap and Ballet. Classes touch on both warm-up and technique of both disciplines, as well as proper arm, leg, and foot positions. Studio Go’s Tap Ballet program is a progressive program that introduces more complex technique and patterns of movement to challenge the elementary student. These classes are perfect for both beginners and the more serious dance student. Our teachers are prepared and evaluate where each student is (level) to make sure that all students are both comfortable and challenged at the same time.
