Taught by professionals from Atlanta Children's Theatre (chosen as 2019 Atlanta Magazine's "Best Place for Kids to Act Out" in the December "Best of ATL" issue), young actors develop their acting skills through fun drama games, improvisations and plays. New lessons each semester! Drawing basics balancing classic arts education and fun. Basic does not mean boring! Students will build upon their understanding of geometric shapes to create more complex images while learning the use of line, form, space, and perspective to complete drawings that are, ultimately, all their own. Studio Go's Hip-Hop class is designed specifically for elementary-aged dancers who want to groove, move, and express themselves through the vibrant world of hip-hop dance. Lacrosse with 411 Brand Athletics is a structured program for boys & girls in grades 1-5 designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport. Lacrosse is a fast-paced game using netted sticks and a rubber ball to try to score in the opponent's goal. Players must know the basic skills, such as cradling, throwing, catching, scooping and shooting the ball. Teaching children these fundamentals gives them a strong foundation on which to build their skills, making the game more fun and possibly keeping them interested in the sport for many years. 411 Lacrosse Academy is offered by The 411 Brand. ROBO-MES 4th & 5th Grade Robotics Winter/Spring 2026 We want to welcome all new students and returning ones. We can't wait to get started! Our signature STEAM program is available for MES students who want to tinker with LEGO based robots and become familiar with the programming that goes with the robots. Some kids will spend the semester building, some programming, some both. The curriculum is designed to reach all learning styles of students who want to have some fun while exploring the world of robotics. During the Spring session at MES, students will continue to learn how to design, build, and program LEGO EV3 & SPIKE. In the spring session we also introduce new robotic equipment including the SPHERO/OLLIE/RVR and the MAKEBLOCK robotic platforms. These will give students a chance to dovetail programing skills learned using LEGO robots to these new robots. The semester will culminate in the SUMO Robot competition (to be announced) matching wit and skill against other students’ robots in the club. As with all sports, we believe soccer has the ability to teach various life lessons including teamwork, dealing with adversity and sportsmanship.
