MAKE 555 is excited to bring back Drones to MES for selected 4th & 5th grade students starting in October. Students will have the opportunity to design, build and learn to fly drones.     Lacrosse with 411 Brand Athletics is a structured program for boys & girls in grades 1-5 designed to teach the fundamentals of the sport. Lacrosse is a fast-paced game using netted sticks and a rubber ball to try to score in the opponent's goal. Players must know the basic skills, such as cradling, throwing, catching, scooping and shooting the ball.     ROBO-MES 4th & 5th Grade Robotics Winter/Spring 2026 We want to welcome all new students and returning ones. We can't wait to get started! Our signature STEAM program is available for MES students who want to tinker with LEGO based robots and become familiar with the programming that goes with the robots. Some kids will spend the semester building, some programming, some both. The curriculum is designed to reach all learning styles of students who want to have some fun while exploring the world of robotics. During the Spring session at MES, students will continue to learn how to design, build, and program LEGO EV3 & SPIKE. In the spring session we also introduce new robotic equipment including the SPHERO/OLLIE/RVR and the MAKEBLOCK robotic platforms. These will give students a chance to dovetail programing skills learned using LEGO robots to these new robots. The semester will culminate in the SUMO Robot competition (to be announced) matching wit and skill against other students’ robots in the club.
