Girls Rising Strong (GRS) and its counterpart, Boys Breaking Through (BBT), are research-based character development programs curated specifically for upper elementary-aged adolescents navigating the critical transition from childhood to adolescence. Today’s girls are growing up in an environment saturated with social comparison, perfectionism, and pressure to please, often before they reach middle school. According to Common Sense Media, girls as young as 10 are now spending nearly 5 hours a day on screens, leading to increased anxiety, low self-worth, and early body image concerns. Girls Rising Strong (GRS) is a transformative character development course that empowers girls to navigate these challenges with clarity, confidence, and courage. Through hands-on activities, reflective discussion, and guided mentorship, girls explore character traits such as self-awareness, kindness, humility, bravery, and emotional regulation. Every session involves age-appropriate guidance and a safe, judgment-free environment where girls build strong values and lasting friendships.
